Ty Eppsteiner began his career litigating criminal cases as an Assistant Public Defender in one of the largest Judicial Districts in Florida. He defended hundreds of clients from diverse backgrounds spanning from the bustling cities of South Florida to rural towns along the banks of Lake Okeechobee. Whether a minor misdemeanor or a serious felony, Ty employed the same passion to navigating his clients through the complexities of the judicial system to receive the most favorable outcomes possible. Working with indigent clients highlighted the social and economic disadvantages that create disparities in the justice system and inspired him to zealously advocate for fairness, justice and equality under the law.

 

In 2013, Ty moved to Colorado and continued his advocacy by working with a firm specializing in Guardian ad litem representation in Dependency and Neglect, Juvenile Delinquency and Truancy courtrooms. By advocating for the “best interests” of the children involved in the various cases, he was able to not only help navigate families and children through the judicial system but also advocate for services and treatment modalities that would have lasting impact on the overall health of the family’s relationships and life trajectories of the children.

 

In establishing the Eppsteiner Law Firm, Ty brings experience, knowledge and dedication to clients seeking to mitigate the harm of the judicial system.
